The concert was dedicated to the memory of Joyce Ann Bouy (January 4, 1933 - February 7, 2011) for her over 34 years of active participation in the St. Mary's Music Program.

A portion of the program included a tribute to Richard Proulx (April 3, 1937 - February 18, 2010).  Proulx was a nationally renowned church musician, arranger, composer, and consultant.

St. Mary's Church is in a co-op conducting program with Terra State College's music department.  The conducting students spend September - February studying with their conducting professor, Mike Schirtz.  Then beginning in March they conduct a few pieces with the St. Mary's Parish Choir under the tutelage of Professor Schirtz.  This year's student from Terra is Timothy Claubaugh, Jr.
