30TH ANNUAL SPRING CONCERT
St. Mary's held it's 30th annual Spring Concert on Sunday, May 20 at 7:30 in the evening. Approximately 200 people attended the concert which was dedicated to our pastor, Fr. Dave Nuss, who will be leaving St. Mary's for his new assignment on July 2.
The concert featured the St. Mary's Children's Choir under the direction of Arlene Strohl, and the St. Mary's Parish Choir, under the direction of Tim Claubaugh.

CHOIRS FROM NOTRE DAME UNIVERSITY PERFORM IN CONCERT
The Notre Dame University Celebration Choir and Handbell Choir performed an "Evening of Sacred Music" Wednesday Evening, March 14 at 7:30 pm. Karen Schneider Kirner was the director with William George, Assistant Director, and John Deahl, Organist.
The choirs stop at St. Mary's was the last of a week long tour which included concert stops at St. Jane de Chantal (Sterling Heights, MI); Holy Name (Toronto, Ontario); St. Jospeh Oratory (Montreal, Quebec); and St. John's (Lockport, New York).
The concert included choir only pieces as well as pieces with audience participation.

The Celebration Choir sings many service-oriented concerts and liturgies both at Notre Dame and beyond campus borders. In the fall semester, the choir sings for masses on home foot-ball weekends in Stepan Center. Spring semester the group participates in a variety of campus events, such as the MLK Prayer Service in the Dome, the Interfaith Christian Prayer Service in February, and in service to the elderly, poor, and imprisoned.
The Handbell Choir was founded in 1988 and is made up of 15 members ringing five octaves of English-style handbells. Mainly performing for mass at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, we are primarliy undergraduate group, coming from all different academic and musical backgrounds.
